Our second and third outreach events in December consisted of caroling at the Lantern and Morning Pointe facilities in Collegedale (a smaller group sang and passed out cards at the Lantern while the rest were at Morning Pointe). The Lantern submitted this picture and info to the local community paper.
Afterwards (and the following week) a few families caroled door to door in the neighborhood. We were invited inside a number of homes to sing to those who weren't able to come to the door. It was a touching experience to be able to pray for people and see their gratefulness that we took time to stop by, sing and hand out a card. One resident said we didn't make just his day but his entire season!
